We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a State & Motorcycle Inspection Specialist / Shop Maintenance Coordinator. This is a multi-faceted position that offers variety throughout the day. You'll perform Massachusetts State Inspections, motorcycle inspections, oil changes, light mechanical services, facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and general operational support. If you're someone who enjoys staying busy, solving problems, working with your hands, and helping wherever needed, this could be the perfect fit. What You'll Do Vehicle & Motorcycle Inspections
  • Perform Massachusetts State Vehicle Inspections
  • Perform Motorcycle Inspections or obtain the necessary endorsement and certification
  • Verify VINs, registrations, insurance information, and required documentation
  • Complete inspection reports accurately and thoroughly
  • Ensure compliance with Massachusetts inspection regulations
  • Communicate inspection results professionally with customers
  • Maintain inspection records and documentation Automotive Services
  • Perform oil changes and preventative maintenance services
  • Complete light mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Assist technicians and service advisors as needed
  • Perform basic vehicle maintenance and service work Facility & Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs
  • Service and maintain shop equipment and machinery
  • Replace lights, perform minor repairs, and maintain shop appearance
  • Assist with preventive maintenance programs
  • Help maintain shop cleanliness, organization, and safety
  • Identify and address maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
  • Coordinate repairs with vendors when necessary
  • Assist with seasonal projects and facility improvements Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Motorcycle endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong mechanical aptitude required
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic equipment and facility issues
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You understand the importance of accuracy and safety when performing inspections, but you're also willing to jump in and help maintain the facility, service equipment, perform oil changes, or tackle a maintenance project when needed.
