Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; includes occasional Saturday's Pay range: $64,000 - $66,000 annually Full-Time benefits offered, including health, dental, vision, 401k with a company match, and plenty more! Job Purpose The position ensures that all Massachusetts Inspection Program requirements related to Motorist Assistance Centers (MAC) performance, training and customer service are adhered to. This position is responsible for providing assistance to the Motorists, Inspection Stations, Inspectors, Registered Repair Technicians and Registered Repair Stations. The position also responds to QA test interruptions and hotline calls of a technical nature. Duties & Responsibilities Assures that the MACs are properly maintained. Provide training for inspectors. Ensures performance of covert vehicles, including the set up and testing failures of covert audit vehicles. Evaluates waiver requests and hardship extension requests. Evaluate kit cars. Evaluate vehicles referred to the MAC (readiness, targeted, etc.). Visually inspect vehicles presented for repair waivers to determine whether the repair work has been done. Respond to test interruption and hotline calls. Assist Registered Repair Stations diagnosing vehicles that have problems with emissions. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Management staff.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. A.S.E. Master Certified and L1 Technician certification; or ability to obtain certifications within 90 days of hire. Minimum 2 years of Automotive Service work experience Qualifications Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing. Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of general office systems (i.e. PC), procedures and methods. Strong organizational skills. Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office products Automotive diagnosis and repair strategies Pay Transparency In order to support the Fair Compensation Strategy by the US Govt., HR Dept., clients are required to adhere to "Pay Transparency Law"; in the impacted states; that have mandated the employers to list the salary ranges in Job advertisements or postings for job opportunities and Job promotions.
