Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, electrical systems, transmissions, and other vehicle components. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs, powertrain work, diesel engine repairs, and electrical system troubleshooting. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to accurately repair complex systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), alignments, and vehicle electronics. Service vehicle components including brakes, suspension, steering, transmissions, and diesel engines while adhering to manufacturer specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed using auto estimating software; communicate effectively with customers about repair needs and timelines. Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in automotive repair to continually improve skills and service quality. Experience Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics reading. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance procedures, and auto estimating software is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain repair issues and solutions to clients. Prior experience working on Nissan vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not required.
