Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled used car Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for automotive service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. 3+ years experience preferred Duties
- Perform thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, brakes, and suspension.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Provide accurate auto estimating for repairs and services needed.
- Maintain detailed records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with dealership standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to enhance workflow and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or similar role in automotive repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and standards.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of powertrain systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
- A valid driver's license is required.
