Trailer Technician

Job Description We are seeking an experienced, qualified and personable technician to join our growing team of mobile semi-trailer technicians. Trailer repair experience or a strong mechanical background is highly desired, as things can move at a rapid pace on job sites: 1 or more years in a similar field may be substituted for actual trailer experience for select individuals. Candidates must possess a clean driving record and reliable transportation. Willingness to occasionally work in inclement weather is also required. A typical workday may include driving our company trucks to different remote clients throughout the Western NE area. Our techs are generally back in the shop around 5pm. Overtime is also available intermittently, depending on the needs of our clients. Overall, we seek a flexible individual who's willing to go the extra mile when necessary! Responsibilities

• Perform Routine Maintenance on semi trailers
• Repair / Replace brakes, suspension and air component
• Ability and confidence in performing annual certifications and inspections
• Replace / repair tires
• Repair / replaced electrical and light components
• Repair, Weld and fabricate frame and body components Experience
• 1+ year in the field: or technical school students encouraged to apply
• An ability to accomplish tasks with little supervision
• A history of safe work habits
• Hourly pay, NO flat rate
• High Quality, Results Driven Environment
• Ability to produce quality work in a billable hours environment.
• Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-sufficient technician with a " make it happen " attitude & approach.
• Able to lift up to 100lbs
• CDL and ASE certification and/or welding skills a plus
