Fleet Support Technician Coastal Medical Transportation Service Quincy, MA Job Details $25 - $35 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer literacy Driver's License Data entry Power tools Hand tools Technical Proficiency Full Job Description Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Technician to join our Fleet Operations Teams in Worcester and Quincy. Reporting to the Fleet Manager, this role also collaborates with leadership and supervisors to ensure our vehicles remain safe, reliable, and ready for service. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our light-to-medium duty fleet. Our vehicles are the lifeline of our organization, ensuring our medical teams and patients reach their destinations safely and on time. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented professional who consistently demonstrates a commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, and high standards of quality in their work. Day and evening shifts available! Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance (oil changes, brake service, tire rotations) Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on gas and diesel light-to-medium duty vehicles Conduct thorough safety inspections to meet state and company standards Accurately document repairs, parts, and labor using fleet management software Work independently while supporting team goals to maximize fleet uptime Qualification s Previous experience in automotive or fleet maintenance, EMS preferred. Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools and basic power tools suitable for the role. Must hold a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Proficiency with basic computer systems for data entry and diagnostic software. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain mobile (standing, kneeling, bending) throughout a full shift. Attributes Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving skills Maintains a safety-first approach with exceptional attention to detail Capable of working independently with minimal supervision Communicates clearly and professionally to coordinate with dispatch and management The pay range for this position is $25/hr to $35/hr based on experience and qualifications.
