Position:

We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and reliable Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose issues efficiently, and is committed to providing quality repairs and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for a wide variety of mechanical duties and must be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

\~Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections, including evaluation of tires, batteries, belts, hoses, and all fluid levels \~Inspect for frame damage, rust, flood indicators, and other structural concerns \~Assess interior and exterior systems for proper functionality (locks, windows, lighting, etc.) \~Replace air filters and complete general service maintenance \~Retrieve, read, and interpret OBD diagnostic codes \~Perform brake system repairs, replacements, and full brake inspections \~Conduct accurate test drives to diagnose drivability issues \~Use diagnostic computers, scanners, and tools to identify and verify mechanical problems \~Provide clear communication regarding findings, recommended repairs, and timelines \~Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols

Required Qualifications:

\~Must have own personal tools required for general mechanical tasks \~Dependable, punctual, and able to work consistently \~Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical issues through inspection, test driving, and diagnostic equipment \~At least basic working knowledge of automotive repair fundamentals \~GED or Hi-SET (or higher) required \~Valid driver\'s license required \~Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality work Active Filters Automotive Technician Worcester, MA Clear All Apply
