Are you an experienced, quality-focused automotive technician ready to join a performance-oriented service department ? We're looking for a confident specialist skilled in complex work. You'll be the expert who: Runs advanced diagnostic equipment . Handles engine and transmission replacements and modifications . Performs suspension and brake repairs/modifications . Performs performance exhaust modifications, repairs, and installation. Compensation:
$25 - $40 hourly
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle's integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes Perform routine maintenance and courtesy inspections on customer vehicles Perform general repair and performance upgrades to all vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, wheels/tires, etc. Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate with managers and service advisors regarding diagnostics, inspections, and estimates for repairs
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED is required Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service and repair Must supply the tools required to perform normal automotive repair tasks A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory About Company At JE Total Performance, we don't just maintain cars; we optimize them.
