Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our small family owned business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing various types of equipment, including transmissions and engines. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Vehicles Diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate course of action for repairs. Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity and functionality. (Bonus but not required) Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Collaborate with other service technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all repair activities. Experience Proven experience in diesel engine repair and regular maintenance is preferred. Experience using day to day equipment required for vehicle maintenance is essential. Ability to transmit technical information clearly to team members and supervisors. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
