The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and service, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools, as well as familiarity with automotive schematics. The Automotive Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and repairs. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and reliable for customers. Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems. Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, tires, and batteries. Utilize welding techniques for repairs as needed. Work with powertrain components to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Experience Proven experience in automotive repair and service is essential. Familiarity with dealership environments is preferred but not required. Experience working with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Strong understanding of automotive systems, including powertrain components. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to automotive systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle issues.
