Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a passionate and proactive Automotive Service Advisor! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every vehicle owner. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and customer service will drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Duties Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service needs Explain repair recommendations clearly, providing detailed auto estimating and service writing to ensure transparency Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and communicate estimated completion times Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely Maintain detailed records of service orders, repair histories, and customer interactions to support ongoing customer relationships Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service advisor background in an automotive setting Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, transmissions, engine repairs, and mechanical systems Experience with auto estimating software and service writing processes Familiarity with automotive repair procedures including oil changes, brake repair, wheel alignments, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts replacement, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto body repair Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Sales-oriented mindset with experience in upselling automotive services and automobile sales Mechanical experience or background as a service technician is highly desirable Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality of financial information Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional automotive care!
