Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about automotive repair and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems and provide accurate repair recommendations
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues or safety concerns
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including water pumps, timing belts, brakes, shocks/struts, and fuel systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
