Job Responsibilities As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer and dealership vehicles to the highest quality standards. Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics to accurately identify vehicle issues. Execute repairs and maintenance including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning systems. Conduct multi-point quality inspections to identify potential safety or maintenance issues, documenting findings clearly for service advisors. Road-test vehicles to verify that repairs have been successfully completed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Stay current on General Motors manufacturer technical updates, bulletins, and training courses.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of automotive repair experience in a dealership or independent shop environment. (Chevrolet/GM experience is a major plus, but not required).

Certifications:

ASE certifications are highly preferred. GM certifications are a distinct advantage.

Tools:

Must possess a personal set of tools adequate to perform daily mechanical duties.

Skills:

Strong diagnostic ability, electrical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.

License:

Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
