Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Service Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive services and customer service, with the ability to effectively communicate service needs to customers.Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers to determine their service needs
- Provide estimates for automotive services including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, and air brake inspections
- Coordinate service appointments and manage service schedules
- Communicate effectively with technicians and customers regarding service timelines and updates
- Upsell additional services or products as needed
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
Skills:
- Prior experience in automotive services or related field
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of various automotive services including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, and air brake inspections
- Ability to upsell and recommend additional services or products
- Experience in auto service management is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
