Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team at Meineke Car Care, Salisbury, MD. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service while facilitating communication between customers and service technicians. This role involves assessing customer needs, recommending appropriate services, and ensuring a smooth service experience. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport. Assess customer vehicle issues through effective communication and automotive diagnostics. Recommend services such as oil changes, brake repairs, and vehicle maintenance based on customer needs. Upsell additional services and products that enhance vehicle performance and safety. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service requests, and vehicle history. Follow up with customers regarding their service experience to ensure satisfaction. Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and product offerings to provide informed recommendations. Experience Previous experience in a customer service role is essential; automotive experience is preferred. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, including knowledge of shocks, struts, alignments, and other maintenance services. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers in an understandable manner. Proven ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
