Job Description

Whether working on GM vehicles or diesel engines, you'll play a vital role in keeping our customers' vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Repair or replace powertrain components such as transmissions and engines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools to execute repairs efficiently. Work on advanced systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical systems to enhance vehicle safety features. Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly. Skills Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in reading schematics and performing automotive diagnostics with modern diagnostic equipment. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Mechanical aptitude combined with proficiency using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Ability to work efficiently on GM vehicles or similar makes with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
