Job Description

Job description: We are seeking an Automotive Technician to assist, maintain, and repair our fleet of vehicles. This role will focus on diagnostics. preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and ensuring vehicles remain safe and reliable for daily student transportation.
Requirements include:
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; Experience with medium and heavy duty diesel vehicles; Knowledge of inspection standards; Ability to work independently and maintain high quality work; Valid Driver's license and a clean driving record; State Inspection License not required but a plus; ASE Certification not required but a plus; Experience with medium and heavy duty diesel vehicles not required but a plus.
Key responsibilities include:
Perform preventative maintenance and service on our fleet vehicles; Diagnose and repair engines, electrical systems, braking systems, and drivetrain components; Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; Maintain accurate repair records and documentation; Assist management in maintaining fleet reliability and minimizing downtime; Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Physical requirements include:
Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment; Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
