Job Description

Passionate about precise paintwork? Messer Truck and Van (a leader for 125+ years & voted as Maine's Best Place to Work 3 years running ) seeks a skilled Paint, Prep, and Reassembly Technician for our growing Westbrook, ME shop. Join a team dedicated to quality craftsmanship.
Your Role:
Master Finisher:
Apply perfect base-clear, metallic, primer & single-stage paints.
Expert Prep:
Execute sanding, scuffing, masking, bagging & fine-line taping flawlessly.
Equipment Pro:
Set up, clean & maintain spray guns and paint tools and paint bank
Reassembly:
Handle basic 12V wiring to put trucks back together post-paint. Bedliner application is a plus!
We're Looking For:
Experience in automotive painting techniques. A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality prep. Proficiency with paint equipment care. Solid mechanical skills & basic wiring know-how.
Bonus Skills:
Bedliners, bodywork/accident repair.
