Job Description

Technical Truck & Trailer, an Autocar/Cummins/Allison truck dealership, is seeking a Field Service Diesel Technician (Level A). We are looking for a highly motivated, self-guided individual interested in joining a team that's focused on aggressive growth and maintaining quality service with a customer-first approach. Candidates must possess the skills needed to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of medium/heavy duty vehicles and equipment while focusing on safety and efficiency. Candidates must also be willing and able to travel. Hourly Rate $25.25 to $35.50 depending on experience Benefits Team Members and their families are a top priority.   • tractors, trailers, refuse vehicles, yard spotters, construction equipment Perform vehicle diagnostics, aftertreatment systems, hydraulic system diagnostics and electrical system diagnostics Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures as well as legal regulations Complete mid-level internal engine and driveline repairs independently Provide accurate timelines for job completion Develop valuable customer relations and guarantee efficient attention to customer needs Travel Requirements This position involves working at customer facilities roughly 95% of the week.
A company service truck will be provided for all business-related travel. General Requirements 2-4 years of experience as a truck technician or equivalent Extensive knowledge of truck systems and repair techniques Leadership skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Must be State of Michigan Master Certified Medium/Heavy Duty Mechanic Uphold company's purpose and core values Must possess a Section 609 EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification Cummins, Autocar, and Allison certifications including an Autocar EV certification Provide your own tools Clean driving record (less than 3 moving violations in previous 3 years) Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp tools, lift/carry 50lbs Ability to work in outdoor and noisy environments Base Location 392 Watkins Rd Battle Creek
