Job Title Lube Technician (Express Service Technician) Location Charlevoix, MI About Us Charlevoix Auto is a customer-focused dealership serving the Charlevoix area with a commitment to quality work, efficient service, and a professional customer experience. Our service team operates with clear processes, strong standards, and a shop culture built on safety, teamwork, and doing the job right. Position Overview We're hiring a Lube Technician to join our Express Service team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance services accurately and efficiently while completing quality inspections and documenting findings. It's a strong opportunity for technicians who want steady workflow and a path to grow in a dealership service department. Key Responsibilities Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks to dealership standards Complete multi-point inspections and document results accurately on every repair order Perform light maintenance services such as filters, wiper blades, bulbs, batteries, and tire repairs as assigned Mount/balance tires and complete basic tire services as needed Maintain clean, accurate repair orders including notes, parts usage, and labor operations Follow safety procedures, vehicle protection standards, and quality control processes Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked Work collaboratively with advisors, dispatch, and technicians to support efficient shop flow Qualifications Prior lube/express technician experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong aptitude considered) Basic mechanical skills with the ability to follow a structured process Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work on your feet throughout the day (lift up to 50 lbs as needed) Basic tools preferred (shop support and training provided) Why Join Us Consistent workflow with clear expectations and leadership support Professional shop environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity Training and development for technicians who want to advance beyond express service Team culture built on accountability and doing the job right Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision coverage options Paid time off and paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan options Employee discounts and dealership perks Ongoing training and advancement opportunities How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief summary of your experience and availability through the platform where you found this posting.
