Back Automotive Test Mechanic - Impact Lab#2013880 Chelsea, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description We are searching for a skilled and meticulous Laboratory Automobile Mechanic to join our team at our world-class proving grounds facility.aaIn this role, you will: Play a vital role in supporting the testing and evaluation of vehiclesaPrepare vehicles according to established proceduresaConduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of issues using specialized tools and equipmentThe Temporary Automotive Test Technician - Impact Lab Mechanic will:aUse CAN diagnostic tools (CDA) to check-in vehicles and identify issues and flash software prior to testingaPerform repairs and modifications to vehicles as needed to address testing needsaConduct tire mounting, balancing, and road force testingaAssist engineers with data acquisition and analysis during testingaDocument test procedures, findings, and repairs in a clear and concise manneraMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocolsaCollaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team membersa Location(s) 3700 S. United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
aMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalent requiredaMinimum TWO (2) years of auto service experience requiredaStrong overall vehicle knowledge and mechanical skillsaValid driver's license with no physical restrictionsaBasic computer skillsaEffective communication skillsaGreat attitude and proven abilitiesaInitiative-taking and strong work ethic requiredaAble to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
