Automotive Service Writer

Family owned store looking for an experienced service writer. Candidate should have some basic mechanical knowledge and be able to speak well with customers and schedule appointments.

Customer Liaison:

Greeting customers, listening to vehicle concerns, and providing updates throughout the repair process.

Service Coordination:

Scheduling appointments, writing repair orders (ROs), and assigning work to technicians.

Cost Estimation:

Providing accurate estimates for labor and parts, and obtaining customer approval before starting work.

Sales & Recommendations:

Advising customers on maintenance schedules, upselling additional services, and offering warranty or insurance options.

Quality Assurance:

Performing vehicle walk-arounds, test-driving cars to verify repairs, and conducting post-service inspections.

$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
