Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Heavy Engine Technician to join our dynamic service team. Now servicing commercial vehicles(Promaster Pro), our newly remodled shop offers all brand new LED lightning, new flooring, new hoists, new alignment rack and special tools. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty gas engines and powertrain systems in a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty gas engines, transmissions, suspensions, and electrical systems using schematics and diagnostic tools. Repair and replace critical components including shocks & struts, powertrain parts, and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble engine components with precision. Interpret technical schematics and service manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electronic issues effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations for vehicle maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven dealership experience with heavy engine repair or similar automotive service roles. Experience with Promaster Engines a plus Strong mechanical knowledge of gas engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with Stellantis vehicles is a plus. Ability to read technical manuals accurately and follow detailed repair procedures.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
