Weekly Position Summary Promotive is hiring a B+ Level Automotive Mechanic for a well-established, family-owned repair shop in Eaton Rapids, Michigan . Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, fluid services, and vehicle inspections Diagnose and repair brake, suspension, and steering systems Perform wheel alignments and tire services Complete valve cover replacements and standard remove-and-replace (R&R) repairs Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document repair recommendations Utilize shop technology and digital systems to track repairs and communicate findings Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service Growth Opportunities As your skills develop, you'll have opportunities to expand into: Electrical diagnostics Parasitic draw testing Oscilloscope diagnostics Advanced troubleshooting and drivability concerns Complex diagnostic repair work Qualifications Minimum 3 years of professional automotive repair experience Strong B-Level Mechanic skillset with the ability to work independently State automotive certifications required Valid driver's license required Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Experience in both dealership and independent shop environments preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Self-motivated, dependable, and accountable Commitment to continued education and industry training Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality workmanship Compensation & Benefits $33.00
