Job Description

Job Summary As a Heavy Equipment and Commerical Truck Shop Mechanic, you will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our fleet runs smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing various mechanical issues, keeping our trucks in top-notch condition. You'll work in a dynamic environment where your heavy equipment and commercial truck skills will directly contribute to the safety and reliability of our transportation services. What you'll do Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment and commercial trucks, including engines, transmissions, and brakes Utilize diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to troubleshoot electrical systems and components Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in truck technology Basic qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in commercial truck and heavy equipment repair Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment, including an ohmmeter Preferred qualifications Previous experience as a mechanic in the commercial trucking industry Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and diesel engines Relevant certifications or training Why you'll love it here We are dedicated to fostering a vibrant workplace where your contributions are recognized and valued.
