European Automotive Technician (A Level or B+) - Up to $60/hr Flat Rate -
No Weekends Location:
Kalamazoo, MI Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00
PM Pay Rate:
Up to $60.00/hr Flat Rate (Based on Experience)
Vehicle Focus:
90-95% European Vehicles | 5-10%

Available Promotive is hiring an experienced European Automotive Technician for a well-established independent repair shop in Kalamazoo, MI . What You'll Do Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on European and import vehicles Handle bumper-to-bumper repairs including engine, suspension, steering, electrical, and drivetrain systems Diagnose drivability concerns using modern scan tools and diagnostic equipment Work on BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Porsche, MINI, Volvo, and select Asian imports Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and service documentation Collaborate with advisors and teammates to provide accurate repair recommendations Maintain a clean, organized, professional work area What We're Looking For 5+ years of automotive repair experience 3+ years working on European vehicles preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability Ability to perform repairs independently from inspection to completion ASE Certifications and/or Michigan certifications are a plus Valid driver's license and clean driving record Team player with a professional attitude and pride in quality workmanship Compensation & Benefits Up to $60.00/hr Flat Rate (Depending on your skills and experience) Opportunity to flag 50+ hours per week Monday-Friday schedule - No weekends Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO Health Insurance Paid Dental and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Training and Continuing Education Relocation Assistance Available Team outings and employee appreciation events Why Technicians Stay Strong car count and steady workflow Modern diagnostic equipment and European specialization Supportive leadership that respects your time and expertise Clean, organized, dog-friendly facility Family-oriented culture without the corporate headaches A shop where diagnostics are appreciated, not feared If you're tired of chasing hours, working weekends, or explaining why "just clear the code" isn't actually a repair, we'd love to talk.
