Automotive Technician [2 years automotive repair experience required]

Position Overview:

As an Automotive Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicle systems—including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, differentials, and electrical components. You'll work closely with service advisors and management to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently, and that customers leave confident in the work performed.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately diagnose vehicle concerns and recommend appropriate repairs Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors and management Perform test drives and inspections before and after repairs Complete routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, tune-ups, etc.) Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex issues Inspect and evaluate vehicle computer and electronic systems Clearly explain repairs and services to customers as needed

Full-Time Salary:

$75,000 - $140,000 per year (based on experience and skill level)

Must Have:

Michigan State Mechanic Certifications required Valid Drivers License 2 years of automotive repair experience required 2 years of experience working at an actual repair facility. [Dealership or aftermarket]
