Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional automotive service, enhance customer satisfaction, and uphold the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics passionate about automotive repair and eager to work with diverse vehicle makes and models. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes and steering systems. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and tire service to ensure vehicles operate efficiently. Service brake systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), shocks & struts, and perform wheel alignments to meet safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks while adhering to safety protocols. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides to execute repairs precisely. Perform Video MPI's using Xtime. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with dealership or independent repair shop background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with KIA vehicles or similar makes is advantageous. Ability to perform complex repairs such as welding, suspension work, auto body repairs, and wheel alignments. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain repairs clearly to clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
