Come join the team in Sterling Heights , MI. We are currently interviewing candidates for a Paint Technician position. This position is available on 3rd shift. This is a GREAT opportunity. Pay Rate is $19 per hour What is a Paint Technician? The Paint Technician supports production operations by preparing coating materials, operating paint application equipment, monitoring paint processes, performing quality inspections, troubleshooting coating defects, and maintaining a safe work environment.

Knowledge of automotive paint and coating processes. Understanding of paint chemistry and coating properties. Ability to read technical specifications and work instructions. Familiarity with quality inspection tools and testing methods. Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Paint Technician Responsibilities:
Maintain Robotic Paint equipment Set up Paint Equipment Startup Paint Systems Operate and Maintain all Paint Equipment Spray Paint or relieve painters Washer titrations PPE must be worn Ensuring customer requirements are being met Responsible for 5S in work area
