Full Job Description Now Hiring:
Experienced Automotive Mechanic - Fuel System Specialist Gas Tank Renu — a trusted local business serving the Swartz Creek community for 39 years — is currently seeking a hardworking, experienced automotive mechanic to join our team. We specialize in fuel system repair and restoration , and we're looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and reliability. Position Requirements Certification in Engine Tune-Up and Performance Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Prior experience with fuel system repair is preferred Must have your own tools and tool box Daily Responsibilities Replace fuel pumps Install and service fuel lines Replace fuel tanks Install tank straps Repair/replace filler necks Diagnose and repair EVAP system issues Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay plus weekly shop commission based on gross sales (after 60 days) Paid lunches Paid vacation time 12+ paid holiday days per year Parts at cost Uniforms provided after 30 days 3% Retirement match & insurance credit after one year What We Offer Established, reputable business with nearly four decades of experience Consistent work in a specialized automotive field Supportive, team-focused work environment If you're an experienced mechanic who is dedicated, reliable, and ready to work , we'd love to hear from you.
