A successful Trailer Mechanic Apprentice candidate is someone who's mechanically inclined, who's a hard worker, enjoys working outside, enjoys working with their hands, and is looking to learn a trade in a dynamic field. Professional experience is not a requirement but previous wrenching experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Work side-by-side with a Trailer Mechanic. Help perform repairs and maintenance on semi-trailers - keeping trailers in compliance with DOT safety standards. Essential tasks will include changing brakes, tires/wheel service, electrical work and fabrication.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old. Valid Driver's License and Clean Driving Record. Ability to pass a DOT physical. Ability to pass a Drug Screen. Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular and frequent basis.
