Position Overview We are seeking an Automotive Restoration Technician with hands-on experience working on classic and collector vehicles . This role requires precision, discipline, and a deep respect for craftsmanship. While we are open to training the right candidate, our priority is finding Certified Technicians with a proven history of superior mechanical, electrical, and restoration work. Our clients expect efficiency, but never at the expense of quality. Deadlines matter, details matter, and excellence is the standard. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical, electrical, and restoration work on classic and collector vehicles Restomod vehicles such as engine/transmission/brake/steering swaps. Diagnose, repair, and restore systems with accuracy and consistency Work with vintage components, specialty parts, and custom solutions Maintain strict attention to detail throughout every phase of restoration Follow project timelines and respect restoration deadlines Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive, high-quality outcomes Document work performed on Mitchell1, and communicate progress clearly to Shop Management Required Qualifications Michigan Mechanic Certifications Experience working on classic, vintage, or collector cars Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills Proven attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality Professionalism, accountability, and pride in workmanship Preferred Qualifications Master Certified Technician status Extensive restoration experience (engine, drivetrain, suspension, electrical, etc.) Familiarity with custom fabrication, retrofitting, or period-correct restorations Ability to work independently while taking direction when needed What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and certifications Stable, year-round work in a growing restoration facility Opportunity to work on rare, classic, and collector vehicles A team culture that values craftsmanship, respect, and pride in work Long-term career growth for skilled technicians Why Jack Frost Auto?
