Fleet Mechanics are responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing various vehicles, including diesel trucks and construction equipment in order to keep the fleet and equipment in top running condition. The preferred candidate should have active forklift certifications and/or CDL-A with air-brakes endorsement. The candidates should be able to work with little to no supervision. Must be familiar with structural welding, cosmetic and major assembly replacement experience. The preferred candidate should be able to repair/replace engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, and have in depth knowledge of electrical/hydraulic/mechanical diagnostics, and able to use schematics and service manuals for all platforms of equipment. Competent in ordering and sourcing parts, familiar with body work, paint/major component replacement and the ability to work on unfamiliar platforms and unfamiliar equipment. We are looking for an individual with a strong focus on safety and efficiency, who can work quickly and independently to meet demands. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical expertise, can work well under pressure, is committed to quality work and can build reliable relationships with our customers.
