As a Service Advisor, you will own our customers' experience in the service lane. You are the first point of contact with our customers and will be well-versed in product offerings, technician scheduling and customer service. From greeting vehicle owners on the drive lane to explaining the repair process, our Service Advisors are true professionals who enjoy helping others. Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:

Greet customers and schedule service appointments Document customers concerns and comments. Write service repair orders and minor estimates with descriptions of problems and repairs Inspect vehicle and check for additional service needs Prepare complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts Explain repairs to customers and review service history Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, completely updating customers frequently Verify final invoice reconciles with work performed on the repair order Ensure current knowledge on latest vehicle data and service issues as well as warranty procedures as required by the manufacturer and Dealership, including all training as assigned Have understanding of and comply with Motor Vehicle Service and Repair Act requirements Follow up with customers and test-drive vehicles to confirm service repairs. Handle customer complaints making sure to keep our customers satisfied. Providing the highest levels of customer service in order to retain dealership clientele. Service Advisor/Writer Qualifications Service advisor/writer experience required Valid driver's license and clean driving record Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check Must provide outstanding customer service Professional appearance and attitude required Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast paced environment Time management skills Fantastic communication skills with customers Reliable and professional appearance

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their automotive service needs
• Perform vehicle inspections and accurately diagnose mechanical issues
• Provide recommendations and estimates for necessary repairs or maintenance
• Schedule appointments and communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicles
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Process payments and handle financial transactions

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of diesel engine repair, shocks struts, oil change, auto body repair, transmission, brake repair, alignment, tire service, suspension, and air brake systems is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
