Automotive Service Writer

Dalton's Auto Repair is looking for a motivated and friendly Service Writer to join our team. This position is responsible for being the first point of contact for customers, managing appointments, and helping sell repair services. Pay $20 per hour 2% commission on sold jobs Part-Time - Minimum 20 hours per week Job Duties Answer phones and assist customers Schedule and manage repair appointments Write repair orders and communicate with technicians Order parts and track inventory Follow up with customers regarding repairs Maintain a clean and organized front office File paperwork and maintain records Promote services and help build fleet/company accounts Preferred Experience Automotive service writing Auto parts knowledge Sales or customer service experience Automotive industry experience Appearance & Attitude Clean and professional Friendly and customer-focused Strong communication skills Requirements Valid driver's license Personal transportation Comfortable using computers Ability to lift 50+ lbs Start Date April 2026 Apply in person at Dalton's Auto Repair 6957 Foley Rd, Baxter, MN 56425 Or call 218-454-4116 for more information.
