Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and drive excellence in vehicle repair and maintenance. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles operate safely and reliably, providing them with peace of mind. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), transmissions, diesel engines, and electrical systems, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical systems, transmissions, and diesel engines. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and service bulletins to guide repairs and troubleshoot complex problems effectively. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed service records and complete auto estimating tasks for parts and labor costs. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and automotive electrical systems. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics software and schematics interpretation. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines for precise repairs. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and advanced driver assistance system troubleshooting. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
