Lube Technician/Mechanic

Lube Technician / Field Mechanic New Age Tree Service New Age Tree Service is seeking a motivated and dependable Lube Technician / Field Mechanic to support our growing fleet and field operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, traveling to job sites, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. As a Lube Technician, you'll operate a service truck and travel between crews and job sites performing preventative maintenance, inspections, equipment cleaning, and mechanical repairs. You'll play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring our crews have the equipment they need to succeed. Responsibilities Travel to active job sites and crew locations throughout the service area Perform scheduled oil changes, fluid checks, and preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment Inspect vehicles, trailers, aerial lifts, chippers, skytrims, and other equipment Identify and report maintenance concerns before they become major repairs Complete equipment and vehicle inspection reports Wash, clean, and maintain company vehicles and equipment Perform light mechanical repairs and troubleshooting Assist with basic electrical diagnostics and repairs Maintain service truck inventory, tools, fluids, and parts Work closely with operations and field personnel to minimize equipment downtime Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and experience working on trucks, equipment, or heavy machinery Ability to diagnose and complete basic mechanical repairs Experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems preferred Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks Valid driver's license required CDL preferred but not required Experience operating service/lube trucks is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company service truck and tools provided Opportunities for advancement and additional training Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays A strong team culture focused on safety, growth, and doing quality work Why New Age?
