Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking skilled and motivated Heavy Truck / Equipment Technicians to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles of many different makes-models and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will keep our fleet and machinery operating smoothly, supporting our commitment to reliable service and operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse equipment including trucks, trailers, excavators, dozers, forklifts, and more. Utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to make a tangible impact every day. We Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension, and electrical components using OEM schematics and diagnostics tools. Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy- duty vehicles or equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and industrial machinery to meet manufacturer specifications. Fabricate parts or modify equipment using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to ensure proper fit and function. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving HVAC systems, alignment procedures, tire service, brake repairs, and powertrain components. Assemble new equipment or replace worn-out parts with precision to maintain safety standards and operational efficiency. Maintain detailed service records including inspection reports, repair logs, schematics diagrams, and maintenance schedules for all equipment serviced. Collaborate with team members to ensure heavy lifting safety protocols are followed during repairs or parts installation while providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders. Experience Proven mechanic experience working with heavy trucks or industrial equipment in a dealership or service environment. Strong knowledge of OEM standards for Caterpillar, Ford (automotive), or other major brands; familiarity with schematics is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Skilled in diagnosing electrical issues using automotive diagnostics tools; experience with electrical wiring and systems troubleshooting. Experience performing vehicle maintenance including tire service, brake repair, hydraulic system repairs, suspension adjustments, and transmission work. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely including excavators or cranes; knowledge of heavy lifting procedures is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Pay:
$32.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 60.0 per week
