Job Description
Responsibilities will include: Perform diagnosis, repair and maintenance of fleet including electrical and brakes Air brakes diagnostics and repairs. Diagnosing, repairing, or replacing electrical and air systems on trailers; body and rail repairs. Write itemized "story" to summarize each repair performed. Follow all DOT, State & Federal requirements and company standards. Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers Good mechanical aptitude and work ethic needed Contribute to the goals of the shop, leadership team and company Properly clocks on and off applicable repair orders and repair segments.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred 2-5 years of mechanic experience on heavy-duty trucks Must have a Valid Driver's License Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check Must be authorized to work in the
United States Physical Demands/Working Conditions:
Regularly required to use hands to handle materials, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. Regularly lift objects up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
