Entry-Level Diesel Mechanic (1st Shift)

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Position Overview We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to launch or grow their careers in diesel mechanics. This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates or mechanically inclined individuals who want to develop into experienced diesel technicians in a hands-on, supportive environment. We are looking for team members with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment safety and reliability Complete mechanical and electrical repairs, including brakes, hydraulics, and related systems Assist with fabrication and equipment modifications as needed Maintain and service fleet vehicles, including Peterbilt trucks Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs Follow all safety procedures and company standards Required Skills & Qualifications Basic knowledge or interest in diesel engines and heavy equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on skills Ability to assist with troubleshooting and diagnostics (training provided) General understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous mechanical experience (automotive, farm equipment, or diesel) Familiarity with hydraulic systems Welding or fabrication experience is a plus Why Join Us?
