Job Description

Work for Moorhead! The City of Moorhead is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our Public Works team. This position performs intermediate-level work maintaining and repairing City vehicles and equipment, conducting inspections, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and ensuring reliable operation of sanitation, street, and fleet equipment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m•3:30 p.m. No evenings or weekends!
Hiring Range:
$30.65•31.87/hour ($63,767•66,308 annually), with a full range up to $43.13/hour. Employees receive annual step increases and a 6% COLA in January 2027.
REQUIRES
One year of auto or diesel mechanic work experience. HS Diploma or
GED, CDL
