Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on various vehicle systems using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics. Repair and maintain vehicles, including diesel engines, powertrain components, adhering to manufacturer specifications. Conduct wheel alignments, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues across automotive electrical and mechanical systems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and dealership protocols. Experience Proven dealership experience or hands-on mechanic experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus but not required. Familiarity with ADAS technology, schematics reading, diesel engine repair, alignment procedures, and auto body repair techniques. Ability to operate diagnostic tools, welding equipment, power tools, and other automotive repair machinery safely and effectively. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to build trust with clients.
