- Transportation or logistics operations You will ensure all vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and compliant with Amazon and DOT standards , while minimizing downtime and supporting daily operations. Fleet Details

- Fleet size scales with seasonal demand Key Responsibilities
- Perform light mechanical repairs (tires, brake components, bulbs, wipers, fluids, minor electrical/wiring)
- Conduct vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance (PM programs)
- Complete light auto body repairs (mirrors, door mechanisms, latches, lighting systems)
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and Amazon roadworthy standards
- Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate advanced repairs with vendors
- Schedule and manage fleet maintenance, repair vendors, and downtime
- Track fleet performance, maintenance logs, inspections, and repair records
- Procure parts and manage inventory and vendor relationships
- Coordinate vehicle transport to/from repair shops and rental vendors
- Communicate fleet readiness and repair timelines to leadership
- Support delivery operations when needed Required Qualifications
- Age 25+ (insurance requirement)
- Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain Missouri Class E)
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card / Certification
- Experience in automotive maintenance, fleet management, or mechanical repair preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and preventative maintenance programs
- Ability to lift 70+ lbs with or without accommodation
- Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments in all weather
- Strong organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment Preferred Experience
