Job Description
ELCO is currently looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team to help with our increasing job volume. If you flag 40 hours in a week, your pay is 40 hourly. Flag 45 a week? Your pay is 45 hourly! We're also offering up to a 10K signing bonus along with paid medical, dental, and vision benefits, excellent work life balance and training/career growth paths. Up to 10K Signing Bonus for Qualified Candidates Benefits Competitive Hourly Wage up to $45 hourly flat rate Guaranteed 40 hour work week Signing bonus up to 10K (depending on experience) 401(k) with employer match Dental insurance Vision insurance Health insurance Paid time off/Paid Holidays Professional development assistance Responsibilities Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if any additional safety or service work is needed Advise service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised. Document work performed and recommended on the repair order Road test customer vehicles Adhere to all attendance, punctuality, and timekeeping standards Other general technician responsibilities Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years minimum experience Valid Driver's license Be able to stand, kneel, crouch for long periods of time Team oriented, flexible, focused on maintaining a high level of customer service No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record within the last 3 years (DUI/DWI) Must be able to perform major engine service to include internal engine work.
