Genesis Environmental Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. We are a leading environmental remediation, civil construction, excavation, and industrial services contractor serving clients throughout the Midwest. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a fleet of heavy construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and support vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment and trucks. Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform emergency repairs as needed. Maintain accurate service and repair records. Inspect equipment for safety and operational compliance. Coordinate parts procurement and inventory management. Assist with equipment mobilization and field service repairs when required.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains. Experience with excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers, dump trucks, and trailers preferred. Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical diagrams. Valid driver's license required. CDL Class A license is a plus. Welding and fabrication experience is beneficial. Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
