Independence, MO Job Details Full-time $22 - $32 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Employee discount Qualifications Automotive electrical systems Automotive repair Brake repair Oil change Electrical experience Suspension Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, etc.) Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues Repair and replace worn or damaged parts Conduct vehicle inspections and safety checks Use diagnostic tools and equipment properly Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members Requirements Previous mechanic/technician experience required Knowledge of general automotive systems (engine, suspension, brakes, electrical) Ability to use diagnostic equipment Strong problem-solving skills Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Own tools preferred (or willingness to build tool set) Preferred Experience 2+ years in an automotive repair shop ASE certification (not required but a plus) Experience with domestic and import vehicles Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
