Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their vehicle needs and recommend appropriate services, including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, and diesel engine repairs. Promote additional services through effective upselling techniques to maximize customer value and satisfaction. Coordinate with technicians and mechanics to ensure timely diagnosis using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical expertise. Prepare detailed auto estimates and service writing documentation to facilitate smooth workflow and transparent communication. Manage customer interactions professionally, providing exceptional service that encourages repeat business and positive reviews. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper records of all sales and service activities. Stay informed about the latest automotive repair techniques, including transmissions, air brakes, shocks & struts, auto body repair, and alignment procedures. Experience Proven dealership experience with a strong background in auto service management or automotive repair. Hands-on mechanic experience with proficiency in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with auto estimating software, service writing processes, and auto sales techniques. Knowledge of a wide range of automotive systems such as transmissions, oil changes, tire services, suspension components, brake systems, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining integrity. Experience handling cash transactions accurately and managing automotive repair documentation efficiently. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in service technician roles or auto repair shops.
