  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician with expertise in HVAC systems to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will be vital in diagnosing issues accurately and executing repairs efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles and diesel engines, while honing your skills in automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Your dedication to quality service will help us maintain our reputation for excellence in automotive repair. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrains, HVAC systems, and suspension components. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret wiring diagrams and repair procedures accurately. Repair or replace vehicle components such as belts, hoses, brakes, steering systems, and diesel engines. Execute wheel alignments, calibrations for ADAS features, and other precision services to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate effectively with customers about repair needs. Requirements Proven dealership or service shop experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrain components, and diesel engine repair. Experience working with GM vehicles is highly preferred; familiarity with ADAS calibration is a plus. Ability to read schematics and interpret technical manuals for complex repairs. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and engine diagnostics. Proficiency in using diagnostic software and auto estimating tools to determine repair costs and timelines. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients. Mechanical aptitude complemented by experience with welding, power tools, hand tools, and automotive service equipment.
