Auto Service Technician - Reconditioning

At Mac Haik Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram we have a strong and committed sales staff with many years of experience satisfying our customers' needs. Now Hiring Auto Service Technician / Mechanic In this role, you will perform vehicle service and repair work as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards. You will be responsible for maintaining the requisite technical knowledge and skill to efficiently and accurately repair vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

ASE Certifications a PLUS!!! Not required Perform work as outlined on repair order accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repair Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is needed. Notify service advisor if additional work outlined is not needed or if more time will be required Document work performed Keep shop area neat, clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times Willingness to learn with hands-on training

Requirements:
