Acura Service Technician

Acura of Jackson is seeking a motivated

HONDA/ACURA SERVICE TECHNICIAN

to join our service department. He/she must be a self driven, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work efficiently with the highest level of Honda/Acura factory training to ensure the performance of the service department as a whole. The individual will report directly to the service director. We are currently offering a guarantee pay of 40 flat rate hours per week for the first 4 weeks. Apply In Person with Alonzo.

Acura of Jackson 800 ADCOCK ST Ridgeland, MS. 39157 Responsibilities Technician will cater to the specific needs of each repair order efficiently and accurately. This must be done within both dealership and factory requirements. The ideal technician candidate must be able to diagnose malfunctions, as well as perform the necessary repairs for them. Technician will perform vehicle repairs at the highest skill level. In depth examination of any vehicle make recommendations on necessary repairs Clearly documents and records work that is performed on the repair order Effectively communicate with the designated service manager or advisor Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the service manager. Ability to perform any additional related duties as required and assigned by service manager. Qualifications or Requirements A valid driver's license High school diploma / Industry certification equivalent required Technician must have strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in the use of common mechanic shop tools Honda Training Certification does Carry over to Acura 2+ years automotive technician experience preferred Any ASE Certifications are a PLUS Any Japanese or other import manufacturer certifications are a PLUS -Toyota, Lexus, Mazda, Honda, Nissan, INFINITI, Subaru Ability to bend, move, lift and physically perform duties in the scope of this position. Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check, DMV screen, and drug screen Must have own hand and power tool sets Must have dependable transportation to and from work Benefits

COMPETITIVE PAY

RATES-Rates are Negotiable & Based on Experience/Skill - Earn from $70,000 to $120,000+/yr (based on exp/skill) Climate Controlled Shop (AC & Heat) Relocation Assistance Negotiable (based on exp/skill level) Paid Vacation We offer Healthcare benefits for our employees.
